Emile Henry

Emile Henry dishes are made in France from Burgundy Clay. Burgundy Clay has superior heat retention properties that allow the dish to evenly cook your meal, as well as hold heat while the dish is on your dinner table. Emile Henry dishes are safe to go from the oven to the freezer to the microwave and back to the broiler.

LeCreuset

LeCreuset began making bakeware in 1925 when a casting specialist and an enameling specialist saw a way to improve the desirable properties of cast iron by coating it in an enamel, and make it more versatile. The signature orange color was used on their first piece ever produced and was named after the color of the molten cast in a cauldron (Creuset in French).
